Notes:

• All rates are net & non-commissionable.
• Rate Inclusions: Value Added Tax (VAT), Third Party Liability Insurance, Unlimited Mileage on Daily & Weekly Rentals, Theft Protection
• Rate exclusions: Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), Petrol, Parking Fines/Fees & Tickets, Any Fine resulting from a Driving or Traffic Violation, Airport surcharges, Toll Fees, Vehicle License Fee, Additional Driver Fee, Oman Insurance, Frequent Flyer Points, and Airport Return Charges.
• Insurance Excess: This is mandatory and will be charged as below for all cases where hirer is at fault:
• MDAR – SDAR: AED 3150 / USD 863
• FDAR and PDAR: AED 3150 / USD 863
• MVAR to FFAR : AED 3150 / USD 863
• PXAR to CXAR: AED 3150 / USD 863
• XXAR and LXAR: AED 5250 / USD 1439
• – Police report is mandatory for all accidents and breakdowns.
• – No off-road insurance is provided as off-roading is not allowed.
• – Full repair charges will be charged to client in the absence of police report.
• – Customer will be charged “Loss of Rental” charges in the case of vehicle being impounded by Government Authorities/Police for any reason.
• – In the event any such damager and /or accident to the rented car is not supported by a Valid Police Report, then all claims including Third Party claims stand void and the hirer will be responsible to settle all the claims, damages and related costs resulting from such damages to the rented vehicle directly to Rent A Car.
• Car types are subject to availability on day of rent. In case the requested car is not available, a similar car will be provided.
• All guests are required to have a valid credit card, passport and driving license (valid for at least one year). Debit cards or cash are not accepted for security deposit.
• The UAE government is now allowing the following driving license holders to drive in the UAE without an International Driving Permit: UK, USA, France, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden,  Greece, Austria, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Turkey, Canada, Poland, Korea,  Finland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand Romania and Portugal.
• Please note that visitors from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Turkey and Greece are requested to have a translation of their licenses approved by the consulate or embassy.
• All nationals from other countries (not listed above), required to submit a valid International Driving License along with their national driving License.
• Please note that the driver should be of the same nationality as the license they hold. For example, a British national should be holding a British license. An Indian national holding a British license will still need to submit the  International Driving Permit to be able to rent a car in the UAE.
• All guests are required to submit a valid credit card to the car rental company as a security. Debit cards and cash are not accepted.
• One day rental is calculated as 24 hours, however, for late return, we operate 1 hour grace period before additional full day charges applied.
• A mandatory fee for all Dubai registered vehicles will be applicable as implemented/mandated by RTA of Dubai AED 5.25/ USD 1.43 day (1-6 days), AED 31.50 / USD 8.60 week (7 days), AED 4.49 / USD 1.22 (8-24 days), AED 3.15 / USD 0.9 day (25-30 days), AED 2.63 / USD 0.72 day (31+days)
• Rent Cancellation policy – Less than 48 hours in advance will be charged one day rental.
• Punctures, tire damage, wheel caps, aerials and windscreens are not covered by insurance, even after paying CDW unless the damage is caused as a result of an accident and the client has obtained a valid police report.
• Personal Accident insurance can be provided at USD 5.5 per day.
• Road toll collection (AED 5 per road toll crossing) will be charged on the client credit card, along with all fines & fuel charges.
• All rental agreement are made for on road driving only. The insurance will not cover off road driving even if CDW is taken.
• A minimum age limit of 22 years is applicable. Maximum age limit for the drivers is set on 75 years old.
• Rental Agreements are based on cars only being driven within the UAE. If guests would like to drive to Oman & back, pre- approval is required and additional insurances and other charges apply.
• Driving across border: Driving to Oman territory is allowed but the client has to get proper documents from Rent A Car at extra cost.
• Following vehicle groups are NOT allowed to be driven to Oman: FDAR, XXAR, PDAR, PXAR, CXAR and LXAR.
• Oman insurance is charged USD 101.00 for 3 days and 600 kms per day / USD 173.00 for 7 days and 250 kms per day / + USD 22 for each day over 7 days. Extra km charged USD 0.30
• Child seats are charged at additional USD 10 per seat / day and must be reserved in advance.
• An additional driver is charged at USD 6 per additional driver / day.
• Airport return charges to be paid directly by the hirer: Dubai Terminal 1 & 3 – AED 52.50, Dubai Terminal 2 – AED 26.25, Sharjah Airport – AED 21.00, Abu Dhabi Airport – AED 26.25, Al Maktoum International – AED 21.00
• The hirer should return the vehicle with the same fuel level as given by the company. If not, hirer will be charged the cost of fuel plus a service charge.
• Loss or damage to personal belongings or luggage is not insured. Customer will be held responsible for any misuse to the vehicle or any part of it
• In case of accident, excess amount will be charged as per insurance excess details mentioned above.
